Radically Natural to Empower the Rare

faq
Read through our frequently asked questions to learn more about Evernorth's mission, principles, and plans.
Did you know?
Pet dander is the most common source of a pet allergy (not pet fur) and may linger in the air longer than other allergens because they easily become airborne due to their size and shape. This allows them to easily stick to surfaces and even be carried from items and clothing into and out of homes.

Did you know?
Gluten ingestion can happen without even eating a gluten-containing item. Studies show that baking with wheat flour leaves dust particles containing gluten in the air for up to 24 hours before settling onto surfaces. Anyone in the area where the flour was used within 24 hours is at risk of gluten exposure.

Did you know?
Even trace amounts of gluten can trigger symptoms and cause intestinal damage to people with Celiac disease.

Did you know?
Gluten residue can be very difficult to remove from some surfaces. Even after cleaning, trace gluten often remains in porous or grooved surfaces (wood, scratched utensils, colanders, etc.).

Did you know?
Pesticides don't stay where they're sprayed. Wind and water carry them miles away, contaminating soil, air, and water that were once clean.

Did you know?
Immune priming means very small exposures can trigger long responses.

-
In Celiac disease, memory T cells remain for decades and can react instantly when exposed to gluten, even after years without it.

-
In MCAS, reactions can surface within hours or days. Once activated, reactions can linger for days or even weeks, leaving fatigue, digestive upset, congestion, or brain fog.

Did you know?
Organic Farms must build buffer zones to stay certified. These strips of land can block up to 95% of chemical drift, protecting food and soil from invisible contamination.

Did you know?
Even remote areas aren't always safe. Rain and air in mountain ranges have tested positive for pesticides carried hundreds of miles from their source.

Did you know?
Pet dander can trigger mast cell reactions. For those with MCAS and a high reactivity to pet dander, even trace amounts can set off mast cells. Symptoms may include congestion, skin rashes, asthma flares, or fatigue, and because of immune priming, they can continue to experience symptoms for weeks.
who we are
Evernorth is a 501(c) (3) public charity creating sanctuary for the rare. Our mission is to create radically natural community spaces for those living with compounded Celiac disease, MCAS, and severe environmental reactivity. We are creating both physical sanctuaries and a virtual ecosystem (through our app, website, podcast, and events) so that this underserved population finally has community, resources, and belonging.

How do you build community?
Community is the basis of Evernorth.

In person: We are establishing physical sanctuary spaces where aligned individuals and families can gather, learn, and thrive. These locations will be built with natural, non reactive building materials and follow Evernorth guidelines to avoid potential triggers.
Virtually: We connect through our app, website, podcast, and social media channels to share resources, educations, and support for those living with or interested to learn about compounded Celiac disease, MCAS, and severe reactivity.
Public Presence: We participate in events throughout the United States to spread awareness, provide information, resources, and extend our reach to those who have never had a place of belonging.

Why is evernorth needed?
For people living with severe reactivity, indoor spaces can be a challenge, leaving them isolated from society. Evernorth exists to change that. We are the first nonprofit to create both physical sanctuaries and a virtual ecosystem specifically designed to support this rare population and those who live in alignment with the lifestyle.

Does evernoth focus on the environment?
Our core mission is humanity, wellness, and thrivability for those living with compounded Celiac disease, MCAS, and severe environmental reactivity. Yet the way we live, the Eðli way, aligns with proactive environmental principles. By choosing purity, and to live free from plastics, pesticides, toxins, and synthetic harm, we create sanctuary for people and simultaneously honor the planet.

We cannot live the Eðli Way without nature remaining pure. That is why sharing resources, spreading awareness and advocating against the harm and damage done by pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides is paramount to our cause.

What does the Evernorth logo mean?
Our logo is a Norse bind rune that combines Hagalaz and Mannaz.
-
Hagalaz represents hail, symbolizing nature, being tested, and overcoming obstacles

-
Mannaz represents humanity, symbolizing individuality, society, cooperation, and help.

Together, these runes embody Evernorth's essence: humanity coming together to form community, facing and overcoming obstacles, through unity, cooperation, and support.

This symbol aligns with our beliefs and represents Evernorth's purpose of creating sanctuary and community for the rare.
